Imani

Imani is a proud Palestinian and transgender young person, with a background in acting, public speaking and activism. Imani focuses on activism combatting homophobia, transphobia, racism and sexism through online resources and in person events. Imani is studying to become a paramedic alongside his work in queer spaces.

Imani’s main focus is engaging with queer youth in WA, online and through YPN’s events, in order to empower education and awareness to help LGBTQIA+ youth. His work also creates safe spaces for queer young people to meet and develop friendships through fun events.

On weekends, Imani can often be found skateboarding, watching sitcoms, at a protest or playing with his pet mouse.
